Matthew 6:16-18
“Jesus Teaches How to Fast”
Big Idea: We fast now because feasting in God’s eternal kingdom is our future. We fast now because we live not by bread alone but on every word that comes from mouth of God. We fast now because we feast upon Christ by faith alone. We fast now because Jesus is our bread of life. We fast now because Jesus satisfies the eternal thirst of His people for the forgiveness of their sins.
