Senior Pastor/Elder – Noah Braymen
Noah Braymen grew up in Dallas Center, Iowa. He studied music education and guitar performance at Drake University, started seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary, and graduated with a Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was a pastoral intern at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC, and he worked for the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission on Capitol Hill. Before moving back to Iowa he was involved in church revitalization as a member of Del Ray Baptist Church in Alexandria, Virginia. RBC voted to call and install Noah as senior pastor/elder on July 19, 2015. From a young age Noah knew that he was a sinner who deserved God’s wrath and can’t remember a time in his life when he hasn’t trusted in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of his sins. Aside from the Bible some books that have had an influence on him have been: (1) Seeing and Savoring Jesus Christ by John Piper, (2) The Pleasures of God by John Piper, (3) The Deliberate Church: Building Your Ministry on the Gospel by Mark Dever & Paul Alexander, (4) The Institutes of the Christian Religion by John Calvin, (5) According to Plan: The Unfolding Revelation of God in the Bible by Graeme Goldsworthy, and (6) Redemption Accomplished and Applied by John Murray.
