“Are You a Sin-Sick Sinner?” Mark 2:1-17
Theme: Jesus came for the sick, forgiving sin and calling sinners.
Aim: Pray with me, “God convict us of our sin, forgive us for the ways that we have sinned, and save us from Your wrath to come through faith alone in the substitutionary death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ alone.”

“Jesus Rides on in Majesty” Mark 11:1-25
Theme: Jesus is a King who can’t be deceived, who rejects dead religion, and who enables prayer.
Aim: Pray that God would give us faith, that He would preserve us. Pray that God would give us the gift of daily repentance. Pray that God would set our affections and love upon Jesus. Pray that God would save our family and friends from a false sense of security in religion.

“Freedom from Slavery to Sin” Mark 8:27-38
Theme: Jesus is the Messiah, who came to die and be raised from the dead, who requires our death.
Aim: Trust in Jesus as God’s Messiah, trust in the power of His death and resurrection alone to save you from sin, death and God’s wrath, and die to your self-centeredness. Die to yourself so that Jesus might be all in your life. Take up the cross of identifying with Jesus in the face of the opposition of this world.

“King Jesus” Mark 1:16-45
Theme: Jesus rules over men, spirits, and illness, and His prayerful mission was to preach the gospel.
Aim: Turn from the empty kings of this world, and have Christ as your King.

(2) King over spirits (Mark 1:21-28, 32)
(3) King over illness (Mark 1:29-34, 40-45)
(4) A King who prays and preaches (Mark 1:35-39)
