Genesis 8 – The Flood Ends – God’s Promise to Noah

God remembered Noah and the animals and the sources of water stopped and the waters abated after 150 days, and the ark rested on the mountains of Ararat. Noah sent out a raven, then sent out a dove 3 times, the 2nd time it have an olive leaf, the third it didn’t return. God commanded Noah to bring his family and the animals out of the ark and to be fruitful and multiply. Noah built an altar to the Lord, offered clean animals as burnt offerings there. The Lord was pleased and promised to never curse the ground because of man because of sin, or strike down every living creature, and decreed His providence to uphold the seasons.

Jesus Christ is our safety from the stormy judgment of God. God has promised to delay His wrath on all mankind until the final judgment. Trust in Jesus Christ for salvation from the coming wrath of God.
