Matthew 7 – Sermon on the Mount, Part 3

Take the log out of your eye so you can see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s. Don’t give dogs what is holy, or throw pearls before swine, lest they trample them and attack you. Your Father in heaven gives good things to those who ask – ask, seek, knock. Do to others what you would have them do to you. Beware of false prophets who look like sheep, but are wolves. Every tree that doesn’t bear good fruit is cut down and burned. Not everyone who claims Jesus is Lord will enter God’s kingdom, but the one who does the Father’s will. If you hear Jesus’ words, build your life upon them. The crowds were astonished at all this because he taught with authority.

Build your life upon your hope in Jesus Christ. Pray that God would bear the fruit of faith and repentance in our lives.
